C.L.E.A.R. Prompt is operated by Adam ("we", "us", "our"), based in Melbourne, Australia. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at contact@clear-prompt.com.au.

2. What information we collect

We collect the following information when you use C.L.E.A.R. Prompt:

• Account information — your name and email address when you sign up
• Prompts and templates — the C.L.E.A.R. prompts you build and save in the app
• AI outputs — responses returned by the AI, stored so you can access your history
• API key — your Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter API key, stored in encrypted form
• Subscription data — your plan and billing status (payment details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us)
• Usage data — basic analytics such as which features you use, to help us improve the product

3. How we use your information

We use your information only to:

• Provide and operate the C.L.E.A.R. Prompt service
• Send your prompts to your chosen AI provider using your API key
• Save your prompts and outputs so you can access your history
• Process your subscription payments via Stripe
• Send you account-related emails (welcome, billing, product updates)
• Improve the product based on how it's used

We do not read your prompts or outputs for any purpose other than storing them for your access. We do not use your prompts to train AI models.

4. Your API key

Your API key is encrypted at rest and in transit. It is used solely to make AI requests on your behalf — we never use your API key for any other purpose, and no third party has access to it. You can delete your API key from your account settings at any time.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with the following service providers, who are bound by strict data processing agreements:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Supabase — database hosting (your data is stored in encrypted form)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Sentry — error tracking (anonymised data only)

When you send a prompt to an AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter), your prompt is transmitted to that provider in accordance with their privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their policies for more detail.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data and prompt history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete all your data within 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing contact@clear-prompt.com.au.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to access the data we hold about you
• The right to correct inaccurate data
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to export your data in a portable format
• The right to withdraw consent at any time

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent some features from working correctly.

9. Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. API keys are stored using industry-standard encryption. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — if you have security concerns, please contact us immediately.

10. Children's privacy

C.L.E.A.R. Prompt is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Your continued use of C.L.E.A.R. Prompt after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
